Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 5, 2026

My Family Matters, Inc. ("Family Matters," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at myfamilymatters.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or joining our waitlist, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you join the waitlist, request a download (such as the Gift & 709 Ledger or a loan amortization schedule), or otherwise contact us, you may give us your email address, mobile number, and optional details such as which topics you're interested in or free-text notes you add. Anything you type into our free calculators is processed in your browser and is not sent to us unless you choose to email yourself a result or submit a form.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical and usage data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and date/time stamps — using cookies and similar technologies and through analytics services described below.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data as described in Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. We also load typefaces from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address in order to serve those fonts. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

How we use information

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the waitlist and the services you've requested, and as required for legal, accounting, or security purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your choices").

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

The Site links to third-party websites (for example, IRS.gov and other resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
